We had a great time learning about the celebrations Chinese people have at this time of year. We made dragon flags and lanterns as well as trying Chinese food with chopsticks!

For all Nursery parents we have a great opportunity for you to get together and at the same time learn about how to help your child at home.  Reading is very important and will aid your child’s writing.  Therefore I would highly recommend you contact us to take advantage of these sessions.  It will also give you an opportunity to spend some time with your child in school.

Details are on the link below:

Making Reading Fun

We read the story of ”The Little Red Hen’. Then we decided to make some cakes ourselves but everyone had to help so Mrs Perryman didn’t eat them all by herself!

The PTA would like to invite Nursery and Reception parents to an informal “Meet the PTA” session, next Friday 30th September.

The aim of the meeting is to introduce ourselves and give you some details about what we do and our plans for events (for both parents and children) during this coming school year.

We will be holding the meeting from 2.45pm to 3.15pm, next Friday 30th September, in the school Nursery.  There will be tea and coffee and biscuits, so please bring along your younger children / babies to the session, all are most welcome!

We look forward to meeting you next week, and have a lovely weekend.

Regards
