Just a reminder it is Pyjama afternoon on Friday to raise money for the Loreto School in India. The children should bring their pyjamas with them in the morning and they will change at lunchtime. Thank you

Yr1Sprnglettertoparents2012 Pirates
In January we have started our topic on Pirates. Mrs Hinton has built a ship in our classroom and we have had great fun becoming pirates. We have also made models of pirates from our favourite stories.
Next week we are holding a carol concert for Year 1,2 and 6 parents . This will be on Thursday 15th December at 9.30 am. We will be performing on the stage in the Infant Playground. We hope you will be able to attend.

In Year 1 we have been learning about sound. Mrs Hinton created a Sound Lab in the classroom for us to explore.
Year One have been looking at Victorian and modern household items in our history lesson today. We had fun sorting them out!
We were totally overwhelmed by the very creative entries for our Olympic dish homework competition! It gave the teachers a very tough job deciding on an overall winner! We had some class winners who recieved a 2012 pin badge, 4 highly commended entries and an overall winner, whose entry has gone through to represent our school in the competition.
