Head's Blog

WOW and thank you! We raised over £5,000 at the Summer Carnival last Saturday. It was a great day and well supported by parents and the local community. An extra special thanks to the PTA officers for organising and running such a successful event, it wouldn't have happened without the hard work you put in.

We are all looking forward to the Arts Festival today. The children will be singing, dancing and playing instruments on the stage outside and the hall will become an art gallery.  We look forward to seeing many of you later.

What's Going On

You should have received an email with an attached End of Year Events document. Please refer to this over the coming weeks as there is so much organised. Make sure you have Friday 14th July in your diary as the school will be closed on that day.

A copy can be found in the Newsletter page on the website.

Children's Art Competition

You may remember that our children were entered into a competition where the theme was Hertfordshire's Hedgerows and Hedges.  We are delighted to be able to announce that picked from over 200 entries some of our children won!

Year 0-2 - Lottie Roe won 1st position

Years 3&4 - Edan Byrne won 3rd position

Years 5&6 - Eve Axford won 1st and Rachel Anderson won 3rd position

Colney Heath School was the overall winning school and was given a prize of £100 Hobbycraft voucher.

Well done to all the children who took part.
