Uniform

All children are expected to wear School Uniform.  A comprehensive list is itemised below:

• Grey trousers / shorts
• Grey skirt or pinafore dress
• Blue/White checked dress
• White blouse/shirt
• Sweatshirt or cardigan – Navy with embroidered chest motif available from School
• Socks:  grey, navy or white
• Plimsolls or trainers for indoor wear

Footwear

We also seek your support for our established tradition of children changing their footwear when they come into school.  The provision of indoor footwear will be very much appreciated.

Jewellery

Children should not wear jewellery to school because of the danger during P.E. lessons and playtime activities.  This includes rings and hoop earrings.  However, if ears are pierced, plain studs are allowed.

During P.E. and Games Lessons these must either be removed by the child or covered with plasters / tape to avoid the possibility of injury.

Nursery

Nursery children may wear school uniform, although this is not compulsory.

P.E. Kit for boys and girls

• Plain Navy T-Shirt or Navy School T-Shirt
• Navy Shorts
• Plimsolls
• Trainers

All children need a shoe bag, clearly marked with their name.  Please ensure that all clothing is clearly marked too.  Football kit and boots are only required by the junior age children.

Swimming

Year 3/4 children have the opportunity to go swimming.  This is at the Hatfield Pool and a voluntary charge is made to cover transport and tuition.  They will need swimming trunks/costume, towel and a waterproof bag.  Goggles are only allowed on medical grounds.  Swimming takes place in the Autumn and Spring Terms.
