We have had the most fantastic day at the Science Museum today! We recapped lots of facts we already knew and learnt lots of new information to help our learning about Space this term! Please enjoy our photos!
A message from Miss Banerjee:
Taking 30 children on the train is no mean feat, and to say I was unsure how today would pan out is an understatement, but it is safe to say that I have come away from today feeling nothing but proud of our Year Five students! Myself and Mrs Parker (alongside some incredible volunteers!) were honoured to be part of their day and walk alongside some smart, sensible and inquisitive children on a wonderful journey through space and time! We couldn’t have survived today without the help of the volunteers and for that the children and I are forever grateful! Your help really does mean a lot to me and the children.
Parents and guardians of Year Five children should feel so proud today (and every day!) because they were all well behaved, respectable and polite throughout the whole day! Their enthusiasm is contagious and their love for all our learning is genuinely heart warming.
Twice today other members of staff/the public commented on how well behaved our class were inside the museum, Well Done Year 5! I am so proud to be your teacher!
Have a restful evening, see you all tomorrow for the rest of a fun filled week!
