PTA

Colney Heath School has an active PTA and welcomes your child and family to the school.

One of the things that make Colney Heath such a special school is our sense of community and the involvement of families within the school. We would really encourage you to take an active part in your child’s education and get involved in whatever way you can. Becoming part of the PTA is also another great way to get to know other parents and families in the area.

As a parent you automatically become a member of the PTA, and we usually get together once a month in the evening to plan fundraising events and discuss how funds raised are allocated.  You would be more than welcome to come along and join us.  Without the additional funds raised by the PTA it would not be possible for the children to enjoy the various items of equipment (i.e. IT and library books), educational school trips and outdoor facilities that they are currently able to.

Current information about the PTA, including Minutes of previous meetings and upcoming events, is regularly updated and you will find it on the school website, the electronic notice board outside the Secretary’s office and the notice board just inside the gate by the infant playground.

If this is something that you would like to become involved in please contact the School.

We look forward to meeting you.    NEXT MEETING: Tuesday 17th January 7.30 pm (changed from 10th due to Incinerator Meeting)

200 Club

The PTA run a 200 Club which provides a regular income used for the benefit of all pupils in the school.  All parents, teachers and friends are invited to join.  The monthly prizes range from £10 to £100.  This year £600 will be paid out in prize money and nearly £200 profit will added to the PTA funds.  This figure would obviously be improved with more members.  We hope you will support us by becoming a 200 Club member.  Please contact the school for more information on how to join up.
