Last week we had some teacher training students from Herts Uni working with us and they did some lovely things! The week was based around the book Handa's Surprise. First we went on an 'aeroplane' to Africa. After that we made a lovely fruit salad based on the fruits in the book. We made tally and block graphs about our favourite fruits and finally we made finger puppets. We sewed these and they have taken them home for you to see! I have put pictures from that week under the special events page so please have a look and ask your child about it. It was a lovely week!
