Trip to Celtic Harmony, May 2018

Summer term newsletter
Year 3 Summer Term.
Our main topic for this term will be: Stone Age to Iron Age. A trip based around this topic to Celtic Harmony will take place in May. Further details to follow next term.
In science our topics will be: rocks, fossils and soil followed by animals including humans - keeping healthy.
In maths we will start the term with written addition and subtraction. Then we will be moving onto fractions.
In literacy our first unit will be based on the story 'The Stone Age Boy' followed by instruction writing.
We hope you find this information useful to prepare you children for the new term.
Please keep reading - over the Easter break the children have been challenged to have their reading record signed at least 5 times by an adult.
