Home learning 1
This week in Maths we have been practicing pairs to 10. This is not particularly difficult but the idea is to know them really fluently so we can know pairs to 100 and then 1000 etc.
Take a pack of playing cards (take out he jokers) put down a card eg 8 and your child should tell you the pairing number eg 2. We have been doing this against the clock. See how many you can do in 1 minute. At the current time, our highest individual score is 28!
Abacus
Log into your accounts to play Seaside Shuffle. It practices pairs to 20. Don't forget you earn more points the quicker you are. Have fun!
