Hello everyone, in today's maths lesson we will be using the column method to subtract two 4-digit numbers. This is a more tricky method Year 5, so please remember to watch the video lesson carefully as the diagrams and images will help you.
Please choose the worksheet you would like to work with today, either the 4-digit or 5-digit one.
If you are feeling confident with the method for subtraction then you can also have a go at solving reasoning questions.
Please remember Year 5 that you do not need to print off the worksheets as you can write the calculations / answers in your maths book.
