National Space Centre

In the Spring Term, Year 5 went to the National Space Centre in Leicester. We were lucky enough to experience a Planetarium show which showed us the training that an astronaut has to go through and what it is like in Space. It also showed how important the Space suits are. After that, we went into our mission control ‘Rendezvous with a comet‘. We experienced a range of challenging yet exhilarating tasks to complete. After all our hard work, we found an unregistered comet. We named it Comet Colney 5. We landed a probe on our new discovery. Year 5 massively enjoyed the trip and would recommend that everyone visits.
