Head's Blog

Yesterday we had a successful Cross Country event with over 250 children participating. Luckily the rain didn't arrive until it was all finished.

Please keep checking our website as we are building new pages such as a 'Community', with links to websites and information pages about local groups.

You all should have received the Raring2go! booklet for Autumn 2017 this week. In it are some very useful pages which will support our Home Learning approach:

Five Top Tips .. for Fitter Kids pg 10

10 Amazing Autumn Activities pg 20-21.

There is also a page on providing healthy packed lunches.

A message from St Marks....
We're really looking to welcoming you to church for Harvest in a couple of weeks. As part of our Harvest celebrations we are partnering with an organisation called Toilet Twinning (more info here: to raise funds for their work. The school  be asking for a donation towards this project, instead of food this year, at their Harvest Celebration on the 2nd October.
As part of this on October 21st we are hosting an evening of wine tasting. Tickets cost £10 and all proceeds will go directly to Toilet Twinning.
You can buy a ticket and join us either by speaking to the church office, visiting our website or clicking this link
