Head's Blog

This week we have had our first class assembly with parents visiting the classroom afterwards. It was great to see the parents engaging with their children's learning.

Star Readers

Every class achieved above their average this week. Well done. That means more children are reading at home and sharing books with you. Year 3 and Year 4 made the greatest improvement.

Attendance

After a visit from the County Attendance Officer I have been asked to remind you that any child who has an absence below 90% is highlighted as a persistent absentee. Please check your child's attendance on the Gateway. The government expect all children to be at 96%. It is a legal requirement that they are in school on time and we will enforce penalty payments if needed.
