Today is all about enjoying a good book!
Hello Year 5, I hope you have had your breakfast and are ready to enjoy a good book today.
We are going to be reading the book Phoenix by SF Said. This will be our class read and links to our Space topic this term.
The first two chapters are below, and we will also be reading it together today.
Below are some suggestions for activities connected to Phoenix...OR....you can spend the day reading and creating work about your own favourite book.
In the PowerPoint are some ideas about making a Lapbook - you can use them in any way you wish.
You may even think of different ideas to work on. You might want to write, draw, model or film your ideas about them. Just do your best today and have fun.
Your Lapbooks will be displayed in class when we return, but I would love to see them or any of your work today.
