Hello Year 5, I hope you and your families are all well and that you have managed to do something nice this weekend! Did you go and play in the snow yesterday?  Did you make a snowman or a snow angel?

Here are some extra activities for you this week.

A good foot tapping sing song!

Have you heard about Nathan Evans and his Sea Shanty song 'The Wellerman' that has taken the world by storm. I challenge you to not tap your feet, nod your head, tap your leg and sing along! Maybe by the end of the week we can all sing this together! Listen to the song and an interview with Nathan below.

Visit some Fantastic Beasts at the Museum

Take a tour around the Natural History Museum and stroll around the Fantastic Beasts.

I'm Going to the Zoo - How About You!

Since you can't visit the zoo - let the zoo come to you!  At Chester zoo you can visit a virtual zoo day!

From the comfort of your own dens, burrows and nests, watch webcams and live streams, animal antics and lots more. There's even mention of an elephant Pool Party...elephants! laugh

Do something kind for someone.

Can you pay them a compliment, make them something or help them with a task.

Please continue with your daily reading Year 5 - remember you can choose something on Epic, or from Oak National's Virtual Library (look in the Tiger folder). You can also pop into the school library from this week - our day and time is every Wednesday morning 9-12 am.
