I would like to add my thanks to everyone who made this such an amazing trip : Mrs Mulvaney, Mrs Billing, Miss Banerjee, and our leader, Miss Dockrell. I know they will love to hear from you about your child's favourite parts of the trip next week.
Huge thanks also to our office staff for organising the whole trip, and to the great Blackwell team.
It has been a huge privilege to see your fantastic young people working, playing and living together - they will remember this forever.
A very proud Mrs Clark x
Tuesday 4th June
Our morning has started with a yummy cooked breakfast. Everybody slept well, and they have all eaten well ready for lots of activities. Today we are completing crate stacking, team challenges, indoor climbing wall, archery, High All Board, Tree Trek, Multi Scramble and the 3G Swing. Dinner tonight was pasta bolognese followed by a chocolate brownie. This evening we have completed a quiz and an egg drop!
The children have been absolutely amazing today, tackling every course with determination and resilience as well as supporting eachother. We have been incredibly proud of everything they have achieved today.
Monday 3rd June
We’ve had a brilliant first day with Wall climbing, Archery and Team games. We tucked into chicken burger, potato wedges and salad for dinner followed by waffles with sauce and ice cream. We have had free time where we were able to explore our surroundings. This evening we will be orienteering all together. Everyone is happy and full of excitement.
I hope you all had a lovely Easter break. We are now in our last term together and your child's last term in primary school. I cannot express enough, how proud I am of every child in the class with the progress they have made this year academically and socially. It has been marvellous watching their confidence and self-esteem grow in all areas of school life. This is a joyful term where they will show you and us how ready and prepared they are for their next step in their school career. However, I know there will be a point of sadness at times as they leave their primary school and some of their peers and for you as your child spreads their wings to secondary and for us as they have been an important part of our school.
On this page, you will find lots of useful information that will help you engage and keep up to date with your child's learning (Newsletters, letters, pictures and other useful documents)
We have a busy, but exciting Summer term in Year 6. Please see the newsletter with key dates that you may find useful. If there is anything you need, or wish to discuss, please do not hesitate to contact me either through the office or through our class email.
I am looking forward to another exciting term and all the activities for the end of Year 6 bring for your children and you.
Miss Dockrell
