Please complete this before our live lesson today. We will be going through the answers together.
In Maths today, please complete the Spring 2 mental arithmetic worksheet. Give yourself around 30 / 45 minutes to complete this.
Remember to:
- Do your working out on a page in your maths book.
- Definitely have a go at questions 8, 10, 13, 16, 22, 27 - remember the addition and subtraction methods we have been practising.
- Definitely have a go at questions 14, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26 - remember the multiplication and division methods we have been practising.
- On questions 3, 4, 12, 23, 28 - remember your learning in class when we shuffled the digits to the left or right when multiplying or dividing by 10, 100 or 1000. Draw a place value chart to help you shuffle the numbers - Th H T O . t h th
- Leave any tricky ones and come back to them.
Please just do the best you can because that is good enough!
