Paradise Wildlife Park!

Buddy Time.

Snow day school closure!

Good morning everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day playing in the snow today. Please keep safe and ask your grown ups to send in lots of photos to our class email address.

Here are some ideas to keep you busy today.

We have been practising counting up to 10 objects in maths. Could you go outside and make 10 snowballs? Could you collect 10 stones? Could you even give yourself a challenge to write your numbers to 10 in the snow?
Build a snowman with 2 eyes, 1 nose, 2 arms, 6 buttons for a smile and 5 for his coat.

You might be a little chilly after that so if you have some, you could ask your grown up to make a nice hot chocolate and curl up on the sofa with your phonics books and your sharing story.

Here is a phonics lesson to help you to practise the sounds we have already learnt.

Snow Sculpture - Pack a handful of snow onto a tree trunk and sculpt it into a self-portrait using clay-sculpting tools. Add hair, eyes and lips with found objects.

Please send in any photos from your snow day and above all, stay safe and stay warm.

We look forward to seeing you soon :)

Come and meet Miss Insall and the Reception team on Wednesday 14th September at 2.45. We are looking forward to telling you all about Reception.

Thank you to everyone for coming to the meet the teacher session. It was lovely to see you all. Here is the PowerPoint and you will find the newsletter under the newsletters tab. Any questions, please come and ask! :)
