Good morning year 2. I hope you had a good night's sleep. What a lovely day it was yesterday! I saw loads of lovely flowers and........a fox! They don't usually come out in the day but there it was across the road from me! Scary!

On the menu today.....

Maths This is a sheet called Do I have enough? You need to add the items together and see if you have enough money to buy them. We are going to practise a bit of this in our Zoom lesson today so you might want to wait.

No elephant maths today but have a go at the Risky Game explained on Tuesday.

Literacy We had some super reading yesterday, Mrs Lee and I were most impressed! This is part 2 of the Rapunzel story, you need to answer the questions in your red book. You might want to do this over two days so I wont set any literacy tomorrow.

RE We are starting to learn about the Easter story, starting with Pancake day and Lent. This is an important time for many Christians. People often give something up for Lent which can be quite tricky! I gave up sugar in my tea many years ago and I never went back! You need to sort the statements into statements about Pancake day and statements  about Lent. It explains it on the sheet.
