We are going to be reading the book Skellig, by David Almond.The opening extract is attached below, and we have several copies of the book in the Library. It is a combination of mystery, suspense and quite unusual.......

Below are some suggestions for activities connected to Skellig. Alternatively, if you have a book that you want to spend the day reading, exploring or creating work from, now is your chance.
In the PowerPoint are some ideas - you can use them in any way you wish. Instead, you may have other ideas about Skellig that you would like to work on. You might want to write, draw, model or film your ideas about them. I only ask that what you do, you do to your best ability, and create something you are proud of.
