Window Survey
Record how many cars/ people walk past your window
Set a timer for 3 or 5 minutes on your phone or cooker.
Draw a simple grid like the one below. You could just do cars and people or you could add dogs, it's up to you.
Put a tick in the right place every time something goes past. (Remember to try and use a tripod pen hold)
When the time is up count up the ticks and write the matching numeral.
Talk about the results. Were there more children or cars?
Try it at different times of the day or perhaps complete every morning for a week and see how the numbers change.
