    Only half way through the term but so much learning has taken place. The children have been keen to tell me about Egyptians, Refugees, Pirates, Castles, Space, Healthy Eating, Animals and Chinese New Year.

    Breakfast Club

    We are now into our second term of the school breakfast club. It has become highly successful and spaces are now becoming limited. Please check out the Breakfast Club webpage for details and ensure you pre-book your children in using the booking form.

    Tuesday 26th February Cross Country event at St Columbus

    Thursday 28th February Yr3 Ancient Egyptian Day

    PTA Update

    The Quiz Night was a great success. Thanks to all of you that supported especially our quiz master Mr Prosser.

    Due to the lack of anyone coming forward to offer support the Spring Fair at the end of this term has been cancelled.

    Events that are being organised are:

    Easter Disco on 29th March

    Easter competition for the w/c 1st April. This will be a bonnet and basket decorating competition.

    This week we have been talking to the children about using the internet safely. We have also published some useful documents on our esafety webpage. It is important to spend time talking to your children and understanding the programs, websites and games they use.

     

    Sports Update

    Our football squad won a league match this week 3-2 against St Peters.

    Wednesday A Day of Many Colours. Children to wear a colour of their choice and bring a £1 donation towards Guide Dogs for the Blind.
