Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
This week there have been a lot of sporting activities. Our netball team has played two league matches, wearing the new kit. Our cross country team competed in their next event at St Columbas. Our Yr3/4 classes had their first coaching session with St Alban's FC and finally Reception and Yr1 had a taster session with Batchwood Tennis.
Next week the weather is getting even colder. Please ensure your child arrives in school suitably attired.

A huge wow to Year 6 who have achieved 100%. This means everyone has read 4 or more times in a week
Year 4 made the best progress going from 35% to 66%.
This week no class is below 50%.
Over half term continue to read so we can have 100% for every class.
This week's tip is find a calm, cosy, quiet place at home to share a book.
After Half Term
There are a number of exciting activities and events planned. These include:
Yr5 going to the Space Centre
Yr3/4 having weekly sessions with St Alban's Football Club

School Dinners
We continue to have over 150 children a day enjoying a freshly prepared meal and our kitchen team work very hard to deliver these.
Years 3 to 6 - As previously advised no debts should be held on dinner money accounts, and we kindly ask that you monitor your child's account regularly to ensure that sufficient funds are held before meals are ordered. You have the facility to check your balance and pay online through the School Gateway, which can be accessed via our website at any time.
Please estimate your child's meals for the coming 6 week half term using the pricing below:-
1 meal per week = £13.80
2 meals a week = £27.60
3 meals a week = £41.40

If your child has a meal every day the cost till the Easter holidays will be £69.00.
