World Book Day Thursday 5th March

We are asking the children to come as a Wow word. Wow words are adjectives, verbs and adverbs which are used to improve a piece of writing by making it more interesting. See our Class Page- Whole School Events for examples.

This might mean dressing in a certain colour, having an item on their clothes or bringing in an object. Remember the idea is that everyone has to guess the word, so keep it a secret.

    Home Learning

Remember to read with your child daily if possible. Plan a special time for you to curl up and enjoy a book.

Lexia is a spelling, grammar and reading programme that is available to you from Yr1 to Yr6. Encourage your children to go on it for 10 minutes a day. It does make a difference.

We have planned to start an after school club in the Summer Term. It is really important to know which days and times you need in order to set up staff contracts. If you intent to use this please let us know as soon as possible. Last minute bookings will not be possible.
